OK, I will be the first to admit that this whole filming babies nonsense is getting a little out of control. But who could resist? I mean, I have a nice video camera with night vision, and two babies asleep in the next room. I’m like a moth in the porchlight. The boys will appreciate this one day, as soon as they get over the initial terror that I might show these video to their girlfriends.
I’m so glad you introduced yourself on the video! I wouldn’t have known it was you. Just like when dad calls and introduces himself by his full name.
Yeah, I know that was kind of cheesy. I do the same kind of thing when I teach. I will talk about a topic, then have a slide at the end that says, “Now, you will work in groups …” I mean, do I really need to put that on a slide? I can just tell them, but I am an Alexander, which means I have a special knack for stating the obvious.
Bless you Curby! I don’t think you can ever have too many pictures. I wish I had been so talented with my kids!
You should get a medal for going in their rooms while they’re sleeping… When I got mine to sleep I was so afraid of waking them up I tip toed and whispered. 1 night the young couple across the street had a party; took it outside which woke the kids up. From then on I had a radio playing in their room for noise.
I was always impressed with Gina’s Granddad Warner and the pictures he took and made into slides. Today, precious; priceless memories are brought back to life by the time and effort he took so future generations would understand their heritage. You can tell someone a story, but when they watch it, they don’t forget it.
